About SLM Counseling
Therapy is an invitation to return to yourself — to slow down, feel supported, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. My approach is calm, collaborative, and informed by mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and trauma-sensitive practices. Together, we focus on understanding your patterns with compassion and curiosity, not judgment.
I help adults across Illinois who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, and challenges with self-worth or boundaries. In our sessions, we’ll work toward increasing mindfulness and self-compassion, identifying areas of imbalance, and creating more sustainable ways to meet your needs. My role is to provide a steady, supportive space where you can reconnect with clarity and strengthen trust in yourself.
